You can check your installed Windows version in a few seconds.
Quick method
- Press
Win + R. - Type
winver. - Press
Enter.
A window with your system information will open. It shows:
- Windows 10 or Windows 11;
- your system version;
- the current Windows build number.
Why you should check your Windows version
Some programs only support specific Windows versions and builds.
Before installing a product, compare the information shown in winver with the system requirements on the product page.
